AI Radiology Assistant for Imaging Interpretation
RadReason is an AI radiology tool that supports radiologists during the read — generating structured differentials, surfacing follow-up questions, and turning everyday cases into teaching moments — without ever replacing radiologist judgment.
What is an AI radiology assistant?
An AI radiology assistant is a software tool that uses large-model reasoning to support radiologists during the interpretation of medical imaging. RadReason is built for the dictation moment specifically — it sits next to the worklist, listens to dictated findings, and returns structured reasoning that the radiologist can use, ignore, or refine.
An AI radiology tool is most useful when it removes friction from existing reasoning, not when it tries to perform the read. RadReason is positioned as the former.
How RadReason supports radiologists during reads
- Generates a ranked differential diagnosis from dictated imaging findings.
- Offers targeted follow-up questions in Learn Mode to push the differential further.
- Surfaces board-style questions tied to the case for active learning.
- Stays modality-agnostic — works the same way across CT, MR, ultrasound, and plain film findings.
- Sits alongside your existing dictation software rather than replacing it.
Why structured reasoning matters
Structured radiology reasoning means each differential entity comes with the imaging features that justify it — not just a list of names. RadReason returns reasoning at that level so the radiologist can audit the AI's logic and either accept, edit, or discard it.
That structure is what makes RadReason genuinely useful as an AI radiology tool: the output is something a radiologist can reason against, not a black-box answer to copy.
A dictation sidecar — not an autonomous reader
RadReason is a dictation sidecar for radiology workflow. It runs alongside dictation rather than in place of it, returning structured reasoning the radiologist can use, edit, or ignore — without leaving the dictation surface.
It is not autonomous and augments, rather than replaces, the radiologist. There is no autonomous interpretation mode — every output is generated only from what the radiologist dictates, and the final read, recommendation, and report always remain with the radiologist.
Privacy-first workflow: transcripts not stored
RadReason runs in Private Session by default. Dictated audio and transcripts are processed in memory and not stored — nothing is written to your account or to our database, and no patient-identifying text is retained. The in-page case also clears on inactivity, logout, or when you start a new case. The tool is designed to be something you reach for during a read — not a database of everything you have ever dictated.
Try the AI radiology tool
The fastest way to evaluate an AI radiology assistant is to dictate one of your own cases. RadReason is free to try and requires only a sign-in.
